Terms of Service
Sonic Tax USA LLC · Effective October 30, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Sonic Tax USA website and client portal. By using them, you agree to these terms. Our tax preparation and Boolean Global services are also governed by the written engagement or service agreement you sign.
Our services
Sonic Tax USA LLC provides tax preparation and related services and, through Boolean Global, credit-review and credit-building services. The scope, fees and your rights for each service are set out in the agreement you sign for it. For credit services, you have the right to cancel within three business days of signing, and we do not charge for credit repair services before they are performed.
No guarantees
We work to prepare accurate returns and to improve the accuracy of your credit file, but we cannot guarantee any particular refund amount, processing time, credit score, or the removal of accurate and verifiable information from a credit report. Outcomes depend on your information and on the decisions of the IRS, other taxing authorities, credit bureaus and creditors.
Your account and responsibilities
- Give us complete and accurate information. You are responsible for the information you provide, and for reviewing your return before it is filed.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Do not send full Social Security numbers or card numbers by email, text or social media message. Use the secure portal.
- Do not misuse the portal: no unlawful activity, interfering with the service, or attempting to access other people's information.
Fees and payments
Fees are described in your agreement or invoice. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Unless your agreement says otherwise, invoices are due when issued. Amounts paid for work already performed are not refundable except as the law or your agreement provides.
Communications
You agree that we may contact you about your account and services by email, text message, phone and portal notifications. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time (reply STOP to texts, or use the unsubscribe link in emails), but we may still send messages needed to deliver the services you requested.
Social media
When you message or comment on our Facebook Page or Instagram account, your interaction is also subject to Meta's terms and policies. We may reply to messages and comments, and may remove content that is unlawful, abusive or misleading. Please do not post personal tax or credit details publicly.
Intellectual property
The website, portal, software and content are owned by Sonic Tax USA LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use them for your own personal or business purposes with us.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
The website and portal are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Sonic Tax USA LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the website or portal is limited to the fees you paid us for the related service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have under your service agreement or applicable consumer-protection law.
Ending your access
You may stop using the portal at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or to protect the security of our systems or our clients. Provisions that by their nature should continue (such as record retention, disclaimers and liability limits) will continue.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law. We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
